Industry isn't diverse.
Our graduates are.
In 12 years, BAYCAT has educated more than 3,500 low-income youth, youth of color and young women, in the digital media arts.
We know that our programming works because 100% of youth who have taken more than two BAYCAT Academy classes stay in school. 80% of Studio Interns graduate from BAYCAT and go on to be hired by amazing companies like Lucasfilm, SF Giants, Autodesk, WIRED, HBO, Hulu, Netflix, Sephora and Pixar.
The need is great. Last year alone we received 300 applications for 100 open positions. If you invest in BAYCAT today, you will contribute directly to serving:
- Low-income, diverse youth, ages 11-17 through our free Academy.
- Unemployed youth of color and young women, ages 18-24 through internships with our award-winning Studio.
Your tax-deductible donation will solidify the pathway between education and employment and flood the pipeline with creative, diverse and skilled talent. Be a part of the change you want to see and donate!
